Blue Ground Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Worcester in the 18th century. The set is hand painted with lots of floral arrangements on white ground panels surrounded by some nice gilding with the rest of the pieces having a blue scale ground which makes this one elegant plate! Three larger floral panels each separated by three smaller panels of single flowers with a flower in the center of the saucer. A handle to the cup with a bit of gold trim to it and golding to the edges of both pieces. The quality of the painting and the colors are extra nice on this example. The cup & saucer are in superb condition with the tiniest bit of wear to the gilding but as good as they come and they display perfectly! The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 4.625 inches. The cup is 2.375 inches tall with a diameter of 2.25 inches. Both are marked with their fret mark in under glaze blue as shown which is nice as many of these sets are unmarked. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
