Round Reticulated Basket w/ Handles

This is a superb large round reticulated basket with handles made by Worcester in the 18th century. It is decorated with a great under glaze blue design including flowers, leaves and fruit / berries and the pine cones which lend it the name pine cone pattern. Nice blue design along the inside rim. Each handle has a touch of blue trim to it as well. The outside of the rim has lots of molded blue & white flowers to it and each handle terminal has leaves and flowers to it as well. A really nice basket that is in good condition with just the tip of one leaf of the handle terminal chipped a bit as well as chips to five of the applied flowers though four of those are glazed over which means it was done during production. So not really considered damage but more of a manufacturing flaw. It displays perfectly. The basket is marked with their under glaze blue crescent mark underneath as shown. The piece is 2.375 inches tall without the handles (3 inches with) and has a diameter of 8.5 inches. I have a second one of these if anyone would be interested in a rare pair!
