Apple Green Trim Floral Cup & Saucer #2

This is a rare and really nice coffee cup and saucer made by Worcester during their first period of around 1770. Both pieces are hand painted with the famous Marchioness of Huntley pattern that utilizes that rare apple green ground trim with a nice quatrefoil white ground area on the inside with some nice gilding in between the green and white areas. Two large flower garlands jut out from the rim through the main area and there are a couple of small single flowers and single leaves coming out from the gold trim as well. I could only find one other cup with this pattern which I also own though there are some out there with a fruit design. The set is unmarked which is pretty normal for this maker and time period. The set is in superb condition with just some very minor wear to the gilding along the edges. The set displays perfectly! The cup is 2.375 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.25 inches. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 4.875 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
