UPW Oyster Shooter

This is a very rare and fun oyster shooter made by the Union Porcelain Works in the later 19th century around 1887. Some of their oyster plates are quite rare but these single oyster shooters are even raresr and I have never seen one as nice as this! It is nicely shaped and molded as a shell with a smaller shell in orange for the saucer. Superbly handpainted with two flowers and some gold trim. These are highly collectible! American porcelain after all is much less common than its European counterparts. The dish is in perfect condition with some very minor wear. It is about 0.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 4.375 inches long. It is marked as shown on the underside with the U.P.W. over the eagle's head in green as well as a PAT. APL. FOR under it and their yellow Union Porcelain Works Greenpoint NY mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
