Tournai Polychrome Floral Plate #4

This is a really nice plate made by Tournai in the 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted with a nice polychrome floral arrangement in the center as well as four single flowers along the rim. Nicely shaped edge with a reddish brown trim to the edge. I think Tournay flowers are among the very nicest of the porcelain world. They are amazing and the soft paste porcelain and its enamels are just perfect. Very hard to find. Soft paste porcelain is so much nicer than the more modern hard paste. The plate is in great condition without any chip, repairs, etc. with some minor use marks common to soft paste. It displays perfectly. The piece is not marked underneath except for an incised O as shown which is fairly normal on Tournay pieces of this period but has the typical green translucency and so called moons. The plate is 1 inch tall and 9.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
