Tournai Pot de Creme Lid

This is a lid probably for a pot de creme ( lidded chocolate cup ) or pot au jus or lidded custard cup made by Tournai in the late 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and was hand painted with a very nice and quite typical blue design all around the top of the lid with a blue line trim to the edge of the piece. I think it is called the a l'epi decor. It has a nice fruit finial to it with its stem and a leaf. The lid has a little hole in it for venting steam. The piece is in decent condition with a leaf on the finial missing I believe and a chip to the ring that sits inside the main body as shown. Some lightly stained crazing to the glaze though that is not very obvious when on display. Still looks great. Unmarked underneath but that is normal with lids. The lid is about 1 inch tall not inculding the ring on the underside and just over 2 inches in diameter. The ring on the underside is 0.1875 inches tall with an outer diameter of 1.875 inches so the opening of the main body this is for needs to be at least that big or a touch larger. A rare chance to complete your piece if it is missing its lid! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
