Scenic Pipe Bowl

This is a porcelain pipe bowl most likely made by the Nymphenburg factory. It would date to around 1850. The bowl is handpainted with a town scene including little people. It comes with the lid and some strings original to the piece. The town scene is painted with extreme attention to detail and of superb quality. It is named underneath - Zwiefalten. The two tower church on the painting is a monestary in Zwiefalten . The pipe is in great condition with a restored chip to the top of the back and a scratch to the scene to the left. It is unmarked (normal for Nymphenburg pipes) and 5.25 inches tall by 1.5 inches in diameter. Please e-mail me for more information or photos.

Price is $599
