Biscuit Rooster Figurine

This is a biscuit porcelain rooster figure made by Sevres in 1909. The figurine is superbly modeled with lots of detail that is shown very well in the biscuit with no glaze to hide it. The chicken is in great condition with possibly some work on the two very top feathers though it was perfectly executed and is impossible to tell. It is marked on top as well as on the side of the base and again on the under side as shown. The S in the triangle with the year mark 1909 plus the modeler's initials and Sevres plus some other marks. The piece is 7 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 4.275 inches long.
