Marie Anotinette Bust #2

This is a large biscuit figural bust of the famous Marie Antoinette made by Sevres in the late 19th century / early 20th century. This model is different than the others I have come across over the year and shows her in a different hair style with an ermine collar (or what ever this is called) going over her right shoulder. A bit of lace showing through the inside edge of the pelt. The bust is made of unglazed bisque or biscuit porcelain and is extremely well modelled with lots of superb details. A stunning piece and the blue ground colored base with the gold trim only brings it out even more. Just in case on didn't know who she was her name is on the front of the base Marie-Antoinette :) The piece is in OK condition with some firing issues like firing cracks as well as a circular flaw where an impurity fired out of the porcelain clay but she displays nicely. A smaller version of her likeness than the others I own! The bust is marked on the back by her shoulders as shown with the impressed Sevres mark in a triangle with the date 1904 as well as the letters AB. I believe. The base has the green Sevres year mark S.95 in an oval type shape as well as the red Dore a Sevres gilder's mark for 1903 and the usual incised marks of this period. She is 11.25 inches tall, about 6.875 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
