18th Century Biscuit Figurine

This is a biscuit porcelain figurine made by Sevres around 1790. It is superbly modeled and depicts the so called Biscuit or Trinket seller (Marchand de gimblettes) originally designed by Falconet in 1757 and part of his Cries de Paris series. The figurine is in good condition but not perfect. Rare enough to make up for that though :) The head was once off I believe and the hat has had an edge broken and reglued as well as the pretzel in his hand having been restored. Still nice and with a clean up would display very well! A few firing cracks from the making and the bows on his shoes are damages/missing. As is common with Sevres figurine he is not marked underneath but a rare sculptor mark is on top of the base - an LB monogram of the sculptor Brachard aine who was at Sevres from 1782 until 1824 so quite a while. The piece is 5.875 inches tall, 3.625 inches wide and 2.125 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
