Bird Scenes Urn Shaped Vase - As Is

This is a fun urn shaped vase either made by one of the Paris region makers or by one of the Limoges factories around the early 19th century. It is superbly decorated with two hand painted scenes of birds in a landscape surrounding. Not something you find very often at all. One side has a pair of ducks to it and the other two chicken . There is a handle to either side with a biscuit floral design to the center and the rest being gilded. Gold trims to certain spots of the main body to make it look more elegant. A very nice looking piece! The vase is in OK condition with the top rim having a set of chips restored and the gilding redone. That was not done that well to begin with and definitely needs some updating now. It would be an easy fix for any restorer! A minor touch of wear to the gilding along the edge of the gilded circular base sitting on top of the square white base. Very lightly stained crazing to the glaze of the base. A very nice looking piece with hard to find bird scenes! Unmarked to the underside of the base which is very normal during this period. The piece is 8.125 inches tall, 4.625 inches wide and and 3.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
