Bird Scenes Urn Shaped Vase

This is a fun urn shaped vase either made by one of the Paris region makers or by one of the Limoges factories around the early 19th century. It is superbly decorated with two hand painted scenes of birds in a landscape surrounding. Not something you find very often at all. One side has a rooster and a chickens on it and the other two fighting roosters / cocks . There is a handle to either side with a biscuit floral design to the center and the rest being gilded. Gold trims to certain spots of the main body to make it look more elegant. A very nice looking piece! The vase is in great condition with some minor wear to the gilding along the very top edge and the edge of the gilded circular base sitting on top of the square white base. Lightly stained crazing to the glaze of the base. A very nice looking piece with hard to find bird scenes! Unmarked to the underside of the base which is very normal during this period. The piece is 8 inches tall, 4.625 inches wide and and 3.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
