Tulip Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by one of the Paris area makers around the late 18th or early 19th century. It is handpainted with a neat pattern very reminicent of the Art Nouveau period just about 100 years earlier :) It is a tulip and leaf design on a yellow ground color with some nice tooled gilding to the rim. This set is in perfect condition. The saucer is marked with an incised script L and the cup has an incised X underneath. The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
