Amazing Blue Ground Scenic Cup & Saucer #2

This is a superb Empire period cup and its saucer made by one of the better Paris region makers around 1800. The cup has a great hand painted scene to the front of a building with a bridge attached to it by a river with a fisherman on it as well as the usual landscape surrounding. The scene is framed by a nice tooled gold trim with the rest of the cup having a superb cobalt blue ground color with some more nice gilding to it. Gold trim to the top, bottom, inside and handle. Nice handle shape with a lions head to the top inside part. The saucer has the same deep blue ground color with that nice gilding to it. The set is in perfect condition - as good as one could hope for! Neither piece is marked which is common on old Paris porcelain. The cup is 4.25 inches tall including the handle which sticks up about 0.875 inches above the rest of the cup and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter.
