Fun Plate w/initials

This is a nice plate made by one of the Paris makers during the Empire period around 1800. It is decorated in the typical fashion for this area with four hand painted green scene on white ground in rectangular panels with funky fish in between the scenes and a burgundy ground color filling in the rest of the space along the rim. Gold bands to the well edge and rim edge with an initial design CB or BC I believe in the center as shown. Quite the typical Paris piece. The plate is in great condition with a touch of wear typical to these peices. No chips, etc. As is the norm the piece is unmarked. The plate is 1 inch tall and 7.375 inches in diameter. What makes it a bit more special is that I have the matching cup and saucer also on the site if anyone wants a rare set. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
