Nice Floral Sugar Dish

This is a nice lidded sugar dish made by one of the makers of the Paris region of France around 1800. It has a nice shape to it with a little handle sticking out from either side and a little gilded swan finial on the lid. The main body is hand painted with a nice floral design ring around the top with a fancy gold design below that and more heavy gilding along the foot, top and handle. The lid has the same floral ring to it with a gold band to the edge and around the finial. A very nice looking set. Both pieces are in great condition with just a minor touch of wear. The piece is marked only with an incised letter which is common for Paris makers around that time. It is 4.625 inches tall including the finial and has a diameter of 2.75 inches at the top. The handles stick out about 0.5 inches from there. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
