Paris All Around Scene Cup & Saucer #1

For sale is a great cup and saucer made by one of the Paris makers around 1800. The saucer has a nicely painted landscape scene all around including a building and some trees with a gold ring around the well, a tooled gold medallion in the center and some nice gold trim around the edge some of which is tooled as well. The cup has a superbly hand painted sceneall around including a few people, a building and some nice landscape with gold trim to the bottom edge, the handle and the top rim some of which is tooled just like on the saucer. The scene is really of good quality and it being all around makes it a very decorative piece! The set is in superb condition with the tiniest of wear to the gilding but about as nice as one could hope for! The set is only marked with some sort of incised letters as shown which is common for Paris makers around that time. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inches tall and 4.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
