Large Nice Design Cup

This is an unusually large cup made by one of the Paris makers in the early 19th century.If you just looked at the pics you'd think it is one of their usual pieces. But it is much larger than normal! The piece is quite typical in terms of decoration and gilding but the shape is really nice and the hand painted design and gilding looks great. The purple stripe has a white pattern to it with some reaised details that look like lace. Nice handle which is fully gilded as is most of the inside except the very bottom. I think the best attribute is the size as one could use it nicely for coffee. It's not mug sized but pretty close. The cup is in great condition with just a bit of wear to the gilding mainly on the inside and an area of light scratches to the pruple ground color as shown. It display perfectly! The piece is unmarked which is common for Paris makers around that time. The cup is 3.875 inches tall and just under 4 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
