Nyon Side Plate

This is a small plate made by Nyon around 1780. It is handpainted with lots of small blue cornflowers with green leaves, gold sprigs and a gold trim all around. A very typical design for them. The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze blue fish mark be it a bit messy a version :) It is in great condition with almost zero wear but it does have a small underside rim chip as shown which is not visible from the top and doesn't affect the piece when on display! The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 7.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
