Nyon Repaired Cup & Saucer

This is a handleless cup and saucer made by Nyon around 1780. Both pieces are hand painted with lots of little flowers scattered around in a manner typical of Nyon with a nice gold trim to the edges. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue fish mark and have the typical "smokey" looking foot ring. The cup & saucer display nicely with wear to the gilding mainly along the edge but the saucer has had a chip restored along the edge and the cup was broken and fully restored. Very well done the only way I saw it is that the cup is slightly greyish on the inside which would be unusual for this maker. I showed pics with a bright light shining through them both. The restoration is extremely well done! The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is just over 1 inch tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
