Nyon Cornflower Teabowl Cup

This is a teabowl shaped cup made by Nyon around 1780. It is hand painted with lots of puce cornflowers with the puce blossoms and green leaves as well as gilt leaves scattered in between. Gold trim to the edges. Very typical design for this maker! The cup is marked with their typical under glaze blue fish mark as shown. It also has the characteristic smokey foot ring color as shown. The piece is in good condition with a touch of wear and a very hard to find hairline from the top edge down about an inch that I only spotted while writing this description. The piece is a touch over 1.75 inches tall and 3.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
