Nyon Saucer

This is a saucer made by Nyon around 1780. It is nicely handpainted with a large floral arrangement in the center as well as some smaller arrangements on the rim and a fancy trim. This is one of the nicest saucers I have seen made by them! It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue fish mark as well as the number 84. The saucer is in great condition but the gold trim on the very edge is almost entirely worn and it has a crazing flaw in the glaze as shown in one area (does not go through!!). It displays very nicely! The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
