Nyon Blue/Gold Cup & Saucer

This is a handleless cup and saucer made by Nyon around 1780. It is handpainted with a blue and gold design consisting of flowers and garlands and gold dots. Both are marked underneath with the underglaze blue fish mark and in great condition. Two small gold sprigs are worn but this doesn't take anything away from the piece. A tiny bit of wear to the outermost gold trim. No chips, etc. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter.
