Woodgrain Saucer #2

This is another superb saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. It is also handpainted with a woodgrain design all around and a scene in puce on the center meant to look like a piece of paper nailed to the wood background. This type of design was not used very often and only very few makers used it (i.e. Niderviller, Doccia, Royal Vienna and Nymphenburg). It is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as an impressed 2. The saucer is in great condition with wear to the gold trim on the rim and two teeny flat chips to the outside rim shown in the pictures. Nothing major at all. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 4.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $449
