Sieck Winter Scene Dinner Plate

This is a hard to find dinner plate made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century during the original period in about 1906/08. The plate design itself is from the Pearl service with those little "pearls" along the edge - it is an old design dating back to the 18th century. The central painting however was first done by Rudolf Sieck around 1906/08. It is titled Winternacht - winter night - a very Art Nouveau feel design of winter scene of snow covered mountains with trees, a house with a fence and a starry sky. There is a nice gold trim around the edge of the well. A really nice plate that is hard to find especially from the original period and in this size! It was likely painted by the artist himself! The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 9.875 inches in diameter. It is well marked with the printed shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath, the impressed shield mark, the usual black numbers, Winternach w. Teller 21 (I think) and signed Rudolf Sieck as well as his initials as shown. The piece is in great condition with some very minor wear. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
