Reticulated Weichmalerei Plate #2

This is a superb plate made by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. A very typical shape for them during this Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period with the flowers being their answer to the Weichmalerei flowers at KPM. The plate is superbly modeled with a fancy rim design including five reticulated panels with a gold scale design next to them. There is one large polychrome floral arrangement to one side and two smaller ones to the other plus a small single flower. Lots of nice gilding. There are even the raised white enamel highlights to the flowers just like KPM used. A stunning example! The plate is marked with their blue shield and crown and star above mark used around 1900 (1890 until 1905) plus a gold number and incsed number 4. The plate is 1 inch tall and 8.375 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with just a touch of wear to the gilding. I own a second plate matching this one if anyone is interested in a very rare pair. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
