Awesome but damaged Plate

This is a superb but damaged plate made by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. It is hand painted with a stunning Art Nouveau floral design reminiscent of the Weichmalerei pieces by KPM in the center, has a fancy gold design around the edge of the well and the rim design is just amazing. Cobalt blue ground with raised and reticulated elements to it highlighted with lots of gilding and five floral panels to it.An absolutely gorgeous plate that sadly got damaged. There is a section on the rim that has two pieces reglued as shown. Easily visible from the back but from teh front it actually displays very nicely! It was worth keeping I thought. The plate is 1 inch tall and 8.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the blue shield mark under a crown as well as the rare above glaze red shield mark with Koeniglich above it and Nymphenburg under it that was used around 1894, a red Roman numeral I and an impressed shield mark. A really nice plate that is still looking nice even with the damage. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $59
