Hunter Cup & Saucer

This is another cup & saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. The saucer has a handpainted scene with a hunter shooting a bird, a lady hunter sitting with her rifle and a few killed birds hanging of a tree on it. The cup has a man with crutches on it in a landscape with a house and a tree and the other side has a house in a landscape on it. Both piece have gold trim to the rims and the cup has a gold flower to the inside bottom. Both the cup and the saucer have the impressed shield mark underneath with the cup having a number 80 impressed and the saucer an X. The cup is in great condition with a little wear to the gilding and some paint flaking on the man with crutches. Nothing major. Sadly the saucer has been in pieces and reglued with small slivers missing. It displays pretty well and is still worth owning and / or restoring for sure. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
