Reticulated Floral Box #2

This is a rare reticulated lidded box made by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. A very rare model but I now own two of them with slightly different decorations. The box has a three leaved clover type of shape and has three reticulated panels to the lid and a closed version of that on the main body with three nicely hand painted floral scenes of violets including their purple blossoms and green leaves. Lots of raised detail in between painted in an irridescent orange color that is really neat. The inside is painted with a light greenish off white irridescent color that looks amazing. It's a nice looking little piece! The underside is marked with the 19th century blue shield and crown mark as well as an impressed number 3 as shown. It is in superb condition! The piece is 3 inches tall including the lid and about 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
