Relief Flower Cup & Saucer

This is a cup & saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. Both pieces have a neat relief flower design to the outside which is pretty nice and something I have never seen by them. Nice handle to the cup and otherwise quite simple and elegant. Both pieces have the impressed shield mark as well as an incised mark right next to it underneath. They are in good condition with a small chip to the saucer rim and some firing spots and a bit of wear to the saucer well and inside cup. The saucer has a star crack that is hard to see from the top. Three of the firing spots are rather large and point to it being a very early piece. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
