Raised Polychrome Flower Cup & Saucer

This is a great cup and saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. Both pieces have a neat relief flower design to the outside / underside including its leaves and stems which is really stunning. Nice twisted branch handle to the cup and otherwise quite simple and elegant. The top of the saucer has the flowers simply painted not in relief since that wouldn't work with the cup sitting in it :) Both pieces have the impressed shield mark as well as another impressed mark that is hard to see underneath near the footring. They are both in good condition with a tiny bit of wear to the saucer top and some munching to the footring of the saucer most of which is original to the making and none takes away from the piece. A couple of black firing spots normal to these early pieces. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter.
