King's / Pearl Service Coffee Cup & Saucer

This is a rare coffee cup and saucer made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century right after WWII. Same shape as their Mocha / Espresso cup except larger. The set is from the King's or Pearl service made for the electoral court around 1792-1795 designed originally by Dominikus Auliczek . The original set is still in the possession of the family and thus any pieces of this design are later copies. The two pieces are 12 sided and have the pearl design to the very edge (refers to the little blue perls painted on). Hand painted with a scene in black in the center of the saucer and three scenes around the cup as well as a superb gold and blue trim. The saucer is 1.125 inch tall and 5.625 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.5 inches tall with a diameter of 2.5 inches. Both are marked with the green shield mark with the name Nymphenburg underneath as well as Western Germany under it, some numbers, etc. under the saucer and the name of the scene under the saucer - Oberbay. (for Oberbayern) Bergkapelle not sure which one this refers to as there are quite a few. The set is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
