Neudeck Urn on Pedestal #2

This is a neat little urn on a pedestal made in Neudeck before they moved to Nymphenburg around 1755.The white version is shown in the Nymphenburg book by Alfred Ziffer and I ahve another one that is painted in my collection as well. Normally these come with some greenery coming out of the top part which has been removed in this case here likely because it was so damaged which is normal since the leaves are so fragile. The vase / urn is nicely modeled and hand painted with blue and gold highlights. It is a very elegant when on display. Add the age to that and this is one rare and superb piece! The base and urn are in great condition with some minor damage to the bottom edge as shown but the greenery has been removed from the top. It displays perfectly the way it is. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath but it is hard to make out. The entire piece is 4.25 inches tall with the base being 1.875 inches square. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
