Art Nouveau Large Reticulated Box

This is a rare large reticulated lidded box made by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. Oddly enough I have only ever seen this model once before so it is rather rare but recently bought the smaller version and now this one here. Funny how that sometimes works out. The box has a three leaved clover type of shape and has three reticulated panels to the lid and similar panels to the main body though these are not reticulated just gilt outlined. The lid as well as main body ahve two nicely hand painted floral scenes including purpleviolets with one panel just ahving an nice color design to it. Very Art Nouveau / Jugendstil in terms of design and look! Both the lid and bottom have lots of relief designs to it and some gold highlights! It's a nice looking piece that can be used to potpourri or jewelry or anything else you want :) !The underside is marked with the 19th century blue shield and crown mark as shown. It is in superb condition. The piece is 3 inches tall including the lid and 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
