King's / Pearl Service Lidded Pot

This is a hard to find lidded pot for coffee / hot water or tea made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is from the King's or Pearl service made for the electoral court around 1792-1795 designed originally by Dominikus Auliczek . The original set is still in the possession of the family and thus any pieces of this design are later versions. The piece as well as the lid is 12 sided and it is decorated with some fancy raised design to the paste highlighted with gilding, two hand painted black scenes as well as a superb gold and blue trim. Nice handle shape typical of the period of around 1800 and a fun finial to the lid. This is truly a very stunning and popular design! The pot including its lid are 6.5 inches tall and about 3.25 inches in diameter. The piece is marked with their shield mark with the name Nymphenburg underneath, as well as some black letters and their impressed hsield mark as well as an impressed number as shown. Both the pot as well as the lid are in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1999
