King's / Pearl Service Mocha Cup & Saucer

This is a mocha / espresso cup and saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is from the Kings or Pearl service made for the electoral court around 1792-1795 designed originally by Dominikus Auliczek . The original set is still in the possession of the family and thus any pieces of this design are later copies. The two pieces are 12 sided and have the pearl design to the very edge (refers to the little blue perls painted on). Hand painted with a scene in black in the center of the saucer and three scenes around the cup as well as a superb gold and blue trim. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 4.5 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.125 inches tall with a diameter of 2.25 inches. Both are marked with the green shield mark with the name Nymphenburg underneath as well as some numbers, letters and impressed marks as shown. The scene on the saucer is labeled underneath as Bei Dachau a city we are sadly all familiar with. The set is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
