Floral Basketweave Type Rim Plate

This is a very nice floral plate made by Nymphenburg just after the move from Neudeck in about 1760. The plate is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement in the center most likely painted by the famous Andreas Oettner ! Four smaller flowers and a leaf along the edge of the well with a superb basketweave type rim highlighted with gilding. I cannot recall having seen this rim before as it usually would have been reticulated but it is really stunning this way as well! A superb plate that is in perfect condition with some very minor wear to the gilding. The piece is marked with an impressed shield mark as well as N3 impressed next to it on the foot ring which makes it fairly hard to see. The piece is 0.875 inches tall and 9.375 inches in diameter.
