Butterfly Plate #1

This is a plate made by Nymphenburg in about 1770. It is handpainted with a nice large butterfly in the center, small bugs and flowers around the rim of the center and some more bugs and larger flowers along the rim. Gold trim to the rim which is also a nice shape and not just plain round. The plate is marked with the small impressed shield mark as well as a number 04 or 70. It is in good display condition but has a chip to the footring and a faint star hairline to the back with only a line being visible from the front when held at the right angle. The bee on the front has wear to it otherwise the plate has very little wear! The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
