Blanc de Chine Mushroom Seller Figurine

This is a nice figurine from the street seller series first modeled by Bustelli in 1758 and made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It is a figure of a lady selling mushrooms with two in her hand and a bunch of them in a basket in front of her as well as another one on her back. The lady is nicely dressed in a traditional outfit with a hat on her head while wearing a nice skirt. The base has a tree stump to the back as a support. This is the blanc de chine / white version which is very nice and shows off all those details from the modeling. The piece is in perfect condition which is always a plus! The figure is marked on the front of the base with an impressed shield mark as well as on the underside plus the model number 50 over 0 and the Western Germany in green (worn a bit) as shown. The figurine is 7.75 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 2.625 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
