Double Candleholder

This is a great candlestick made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. It is superbly modeled with an immense amount of small details especially the applied flowers and leaves. Two candle holders with a central little urns that is decorated with a flower on top and a garland of flowers and leaves around the center. Relief design to the base and more applied flowers. hard to desiribe the piece but it is superb and the pictures will do the rest :) The candle holder is 9 inches tall, 10 inches long and the base has a diameter of 5 inches. It is marked with the impressed shield mark with the number 972 next to it as well as a 7 on the other side. The piece is in great condition with one of the tiny fragile handles of the urn on top missing and one tiny leaf of the flower on top broken off but neither takes away from the piece. The candle holders are made separately and attached to the stems which is normal. There is some off white color/glue residue from this on the udnerside but that is not damage or a sign of restoration or such!! Just normal. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
