Basketweave Floral Plate

This is a plate made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. It is handpainted with a floral arrangement in the center, three flowers on the rim and four tiny flowers in between. The plate has a nice basketweave design to the paste which is nice. The flowers are quite nice and not the style yet that we know today as Nymphenburg's. The plate is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as an impressed number 9 and letter P. It is in good condition with a little wear which is normal on relief pieces like this. There is also an odd brown ring around the edge of the center bowl like it was used as a flowerpot underplate. Should come off so I will work on that. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 8.75 inches in diameter. There is an area by the mark that has been scratched off - looks to have been writing edged into the plate in old German though I cannot make it out. Sometimes during the war things were scratched off to make items look less important so they wouldn't be looted. I have seen that from time to time so I am assuming that this was the case here. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
