Amazing Demitasse

This is an amazing demitasse cup and saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is probably the nicest small set I have owned from this period with a perfect blend of the perfect shape with a matte green ground color and lots of superb tooled gilding. Truly a master piece! The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.125 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.75 inches tall including the handle with a diameter of 2.25 inches. Both are marked with the underglaze green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath, a set of green numbers with what looks to be a painter's mark under that and an additional black shield mark with Royal above it and Nymphenburg Bavaria below it. Not a mark one sees often and I think this was added to export pieces only. The saucer also has some numbers and impressed marks. Both are in perfect condition.
