Kings Service Dinner Plate #3

This is a hard to find dinner plate made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is from the King's or Pearl service made for the electoral court around 1792-1795 designed originally by Dominikus Auliczek. The original set is still in the possession of the family and thus any pieces of this design are later copies. The large plate is 12 sided and has the perl design to the very edge (refers to the little blue perls painted on). It is hand painted with a scene in black in the center - Amalienburg which is an elaborate hunting lodge on the grounds of Nymphenburg Palace, Munich. And to finish of a perfect design there is lots of gold and blue trim. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. It is marked with the underglaze printed shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath, the impressed shield mark, the usual numbers and the title to the scene in the front Amalienburg in black. The piece is in perfect condition but there is a firing crack to the edge from the making as shown. Does not take away from the piece at all! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
