Floral Flacon or Vase

This is a really interesting and early piece made by Nymphenburg around 1760 or before possibly still at the Neudeck site before they moved to Nymphenburg. I think it was a dresser bottle / perfume flacon which is missing its stopper though I am not 100%. Could be a vase or at least easily be used as such. The reason I am saying this is because the inside neck has these grooves in it that would not make for a tight seal with a stopper at all. The piece is decorated with relief floral garlands as well as relief scrolls and a relief design along the bottom half of the main body. These are all nicely hand painted in their typical early colors! It's a gorgeous piece and one rarley ever comes across early Nymphenburg pieces anymore! It is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as an impressed number 2 and letter P as shown. The piece is in good condition with some old restoration to the top edge which could be improved upon, a touch of blue paint flaking (a common issue on these early pieces of theirs) and a rough area to the bottom edge as shown. It's a nice example and not something you'll find again anytime soon. The piece displays nicely! It is 4.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter.
