Fruit Scene Cup & Saucer #2

This is a cup & saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. Both pieces are hand painted with a very nice fruit still life scene as well as a few bugs scattered about and a gold trim to the edge and the handle. The scenes are quite nice and I love the bugs! The saucer is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as an impressed letter B as well as an I or a 1 - hard to say. The cup has an incised circle as well as an impressed letter S and P as shown. Both pieces are in good condition with a little wear to the gilding and a small chip to the edge of the cup rim as shown from both sides to get an idea of the look from either view. Doesn't really affect the piece much and it displays perfectly! The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
