Fruit Scene Cup & Saucer #1

This is a fun cup & saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. Both pieces are hand painted with a very nice fruit scene as well as a few bugs scattered about and a gold trim to the edge and the handle. The scenes are quite nice and I love the bugs! The saucer is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as an impressed letter I or L or number 1 - hard to say. The cup has asn incised circle as well as an impressed letter S and P as shown. Both pieces are in great condition with a little wear to the gilding and the tiniest chip to the edge of the cup rim right by the handle. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
