Sevres Style Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Mintons around 1860. It is one of the nicest cups I have ever come across by them! Hand painted in the Sevres style with a nice floral garland all around including morning glory, oak leaves and a red snowball type flower as well as a cobalt blue ring and some nice gilding. The cup has a nice handle to it and the center of the saucer more flowers of the same type. The set is in superb condition with a bit of wear to the gilding mostly to the very edge of the saucer and by the top cobalt ring of the cup. The cup is 2.625 inches tall and has a diemter at the top of 2.875 inches. The saucer is just under 1.25 inches and has a diameter of 5.5 inches. Both pieces have the hanging hole on the under side foot ring that Sevres would ahve had and both are marked with a red ermine type mark on the foot ring as shown. A really nice cup and saucer! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
