Rice Grain Rim & Floral Plate

This is a fun plate made by Minton in the 19th century I think in 1874 if I got the code right. I have never seen this sort of rice grain design on the rim on any of their pieces so it was a must have for me. The plate has a nicely hand painted floral scene in the center including a carnation and some forget me nots , a gold trim with some raised design around the well and another gold trim along the edge but my favorite is the rim design. Not sure how they pulled this one off as the entire rim is covered with a vermicelli type design cut into rim which must have taken forever and two different cutout designs that were filled with a clear enamel or glaze so that the light can shine through them. Really very interesting and like I said not something I have seen before by them. The plate is of a nice size being 9.675 inches in diameter and just over one inch tall. It is in great condition with some minor use marks. It is marked underneath with impressed Mintons as well as their typical date cyphers , etc. and some red numbers / letters. as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
