Lady w/ Birdcage Figurine

This is a great bisquit / parian figurine made by Minton in about 1830. It is a figure from the five senses series representing touch I believe!? It shows a seated lady with a table next to her that has a birdcage on it. The bird is peaking out of the cage and touching her hand. The figurine is superbly modeled with lots of detail which is only made better by it being unglazed since the glaze usually hides some of the minute details. The figurine is in great condition with some damage to the lace parts on her head and the bottom of her skirt. I think there used to be a ring on top of the birdcage to hang it by that is missing but othersie the piece is in great condition and displays very well. There are two holes on the two sides of the base I am assuming it was meant to be attached to something. The figurine is 5.75 inches tall, 3.875 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. The base is not marked but it has the typical hole underneath that one finds often on old Minton figurines. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
