Bird Scene Plate

This is a very nice plate made by Minton in the 19th century. The plate has a nice reticulated rim with lots of nice gilding to it, another gold design along the edge of the well, a ribbed design to most of the well and a superb hand painted bird scene in the center. A truly elegant plate, The central medallion is a bit raised from the rest of the well. The scene is of very nice quality with the bird surrounded by flowers and leaves. Sadly the scene is not signed. The plate is 9.125 inches in diameter and 0.875 inches tall. It is in great condition with some very minor wear. The piece is marked underneath with a red B over 4935 as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
